What FoeGlass Is: The AI Visibility Index for iGaming
FoeGlass is the AI Visibility Index for iGaming: it measures how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and Google AI Overviews describe your brand to real players. Here is what it measures, how the data is collected by hand, and why the score cannot be bought.
FoeGlass is the AI Visibility Index for iGaming: it measures how AI models represent iGaming brands in the answers they give players. When a player asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok or Google AI Overviews where to play, FoeGlass records who gets named, how, and why. It is a category-defining tool built for one job: to show iGaming brands, affiliates and operators exactly how visible they are inside AI answers, market by market.
What does FoeGlass measure?
FoeGlass reads AI answers along four dimensions: geo, language, query intent, and player type. Player type is a persona: beginner, regular, or high roller. For every tracked brand named in an answer, FoeGlass extracts four things:
- Role: is the brand recommended, merely mentioned, or flagged as a warning?
- Tone: how positive or negative the language around it is.
- Position: where the brand sits in the answer, top or buried.
- Sources: which citations the model leaned on to say it.
These signals become a single score from 0 to 100, a weighted average of role, tone, position and source quality. Money intents, the questions where a player is close to a deposit, weigh more than informational ones. The exact weights are locked and not disclosed, so the number cannot be gamed.
How is FoeGlass data collected?
By hand, by real people. FoeGlass uses no model APIs. Every data point comes from a live query, run from the required geo and language, phrased exactly as a real player would phrase it. Personas are prepared accounts with genuine history per player type and per geo, so a high roller in one market sees what a high roller actually sees. After the human collects the answer, markup is done by two independent AI models: one extracts the signals, a second verifies them. Human first, then a double AI check. This is slower than scraping an API, and that is the point: it reflects what players truly get, not what a model returns to a fresh, historyless prompt.
How often does FoeGlass update?
FoeGlass runs in cycles of roughly 60 days. Each published snapshot is immutable: once a cycle closes, its numbers never change. The public view shows the current cycle and the one before it, so you can see movement without noise. Deeper history lives in reports. This cadence matters because AI answers shift fast. Google AI Overviews now appear in about 60% of US searches, up from roughly 25% in late 2025, so a brand's AI visibility is a moving target that needs regular, honest re-measurement.
What do the cells actually mean?
FoeGlass is precise about the difference between a real zero and no data. Every cell has a state:
- Present: measured, the brand was named, it has a score.
- Absent: measured, a market exists, but the brand was not named. An honest zero, the deposit went elsewhere.
- No market: measured, but there is no market there, so it is excluded from the math.
- Not measured: never measured. This is not data, and it is never shown as "bad."
A red verdict also needs a witness. FoeGlass will only call an answer bad if at least one tracked brand was named confidently and non-negatively in that same answer. Without a witness the run is treated as no market and leaves the denominator, so a brand is never punished for a question no one really answered.
Who is FoeGlass for, and why can't the score be bought?
FoeGlass is for iGaming brands, affiliates and operators who understand that discovery is moving from search boxes to AI answers. When an AI answer appears, up to 83% of searches now end without a click, and Google's AI Mode pushes that toward 93%. If the model does not name you, the player never sees you. FoeGlass also maps a separate funnel, Game-Bridge: the game-to-casino edges AI draws when a player asks where to play a specific slot like Gates of Olympus or Sweet Bonanza, and which operators and providers get named.
The public index is untouchable. FoeGlass never edits it for money. Paid work is depth and help improving real visibility, never a purchased score. SEO was about yesterday. AI visibility is about tomorrow, and FoeGlass is where you measure it. If you want a full read of your brand across geos, personas and engines, a FoeGlass report and ongoing analysis is the place to start.
